Master's Degree Online via Distance Learning
Obtaining a Master’s Degree from Selinus University requires the achievement of 40 academic credits beyond the Bachelor's level. Selinus University’s approach to learning is innovative and flexible, as it focuses on the prior work experience of adult learners. Credit validation is based on an in-depth analysis of candidates’ CVs, taking into account personal and professional skills, academic achievements, professional experience, cultural background, and of course, the credits awarded for Project works and the final thesis.
The distance learning programs offered by Selinus University are delivered entirely online. The Master’s pathway differs from traditional exam-based programs. Instead, it is structured around written Project Works (exam units), which are assigned specific credits. These, combined with the credits earned from the final thesis, make up the total required to obtain the degree. In some cases, for highly qualified professional profiles, the credits gained from the CV may be sufficient to access the final thesis directly.
Selinus University offers two types of distance Master’s degrees: Master of Arts (MA) and Master of Science (M.Sc). Its seven faculties include over 250 study programs designed for professionals, managers, entrepreneurs, and consultants who already hold significant roles in corporate or managerial environments and who are recognized for their success in their professional and social contexts. These study programs are not suitable for young students pursuing traditional academic paths. The objective, in fact, is to certify previously acquired competencies and to promote the personal and professional growth of candidates who are already successfully integrated into the workforce.
The Selinus University Master’s degree is not intended to acquire new literary, technical, or scientific skills. As a non-formal qualification, it is not suitable for public recognition purposes. Rather, it serves to enhance professional practice and certify competencies at an international level, as defined by our Mission.
